Shri Jokhiram Saradevi Silai Kendra, Bahadurgarh, Haryana
Shri Jokhiram Saradevi Silai Kendra was started on September 7, 2014 at Asauda village of Bahadurgarh. The centre has been started in the memory of the parents of Shri Mahavir Mittal at his ancestral village Asauda. Presently, 26 girls are getting training. There is huge enthusiasm among the girls for the training. The villagers have also expressed thanks to Ganga Sewa Sanstha for starting the project. They are cooperating with the centre. The dream seen by the founder the late Shri Gangaram Motiral Goel is gradually coming true. The theme 'Mera Gaon, Mera Teerth' has proved to be a milestone in reconnecting urban people to their respective villages. We feel it is the beginning of a big movement for social transformation. Ganga Sewa Sanstha today runs three computer centres and 11 tailoring centres. The school at Jalmana village of Haryana is catering to the educational needs of over 300 students. By and large, the Sanstha runs 16 projects in six states and they have so far benefited about 6500 students.
