Motiram Aako Devi Vidya Mandir, Jalmana, Karnal, Haryana
Apart from helping the underprivileged sections of society in Delhi through tailoring centre, adult literacy centre, Bal Sanskar Kendra and several other projects since 1994, the Sanstha materialised the desire of the founder the late Shri Motiram Goel was to develop his parental village Jalmana in Karnal district of Haryana as a model village. The ancestral house of Shri Goel was renovated in the village and on January 31, 1999 a tailoring centre was started as Banarasi Das Pisto Devi Silai Centre. The project was started with the help of Sewa Bharati. The inauguration of the project was done by Shri Ramesh Prakash Sharma, senior Sangh leader of Delhi. Apart from this project, the Sanstha also decided to start a school for the village children so that they can be imparted value education. The Sanstha purchased a piece of two acre land at Dachar Road in the village and constructed a building for the School i.e. Motiram Aako Devi Vidya Mandir. The ‘bhoomipujan’ for the building was performed in the presence of the then RSS Haryana Prant Pracharak Shri Rameshwarji in July 1999. Today, 310 students study in this school. Till now about 2000 students have received education from this school. Apart from it, about 550 girls have received training of tailoring.
